Cookies and storage

The short version: Relay does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics, so we don't show a cookie banner asking you to accept them. We keep a few settings in your browser's own storage so the site remembers your choices. Nothing here is used to follow you across other websites.
Cookies
Relay's own pages do not set cookies. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm or cf_clearance) when it needs to tell people from automated traffic or block an attack. These cookies don't identify you, are not used for advertising, last 30 minutes to a day, and are covered by Cloudflare's cookie policy.
If you press Cast in Chrome, Google's casting software loads at that moment and works under Google's own policies.
What we keep in your browser
These are stored in your browser's local storage (or session storage, which is cleared when the tab closes). They stay on your device; some are sent with a single request when a page needs them, as described in our privacy policy.

Analytics
We count listening ourselves, as daily totals, without cookies (see the privacy policy). If we add a measurement service in the future, it will be one that works without cookies or cross-site tracking, and we'll list it here first.
How to remove it
- On the site: My Relay → Clear everything Relay saved here. If you linked devices, use Forget me on every device first to delete the copy on our servers.
- In your browser: clear site data for 247relaynews.com in your browser's privacy settings.
- Private or incognito windows forget everything when you close them.
Relay works without any of this; it just won't remember your choices.

We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Because we don't sell or share personal information or use tracking cookies, there is nothing further to switch off.
