How we work

News values and principles

Effective October 15, 2026 · Chimes In LLC, Florida

Relay is an AI-produced news channel, so we hold it to rules a reader can check. These principles apply to every newscast, story page and on-screen graphic. Our sources and AI standards explain the technical rules that put them into practice.

Accuracy

Relay reports only what published reporting or official sources say, and says who said it. When outlets disagree or a fact isn't confirmed, Relay says so rather than picking a side. We don't present AI-generated text as a quote from a real person.

Attribution

Every story names and links the news organizations whose reporting it is based on. We use reporting only as each source's terms allow, and we stop using a source if its owner asks.

Fairness

We describe people and groups in neutral language, give the context needed to understand a claim, and avoid speculation about motives. Allegations are reported as allegations, with the response of the person or organization when it has been reported.

Independence

Relay takes no direction from sponsors, advertisers, governments, parties or campaigns. Sponsors never see stories before they air. Relay doesn't endorse candidates, ballot measures or causes, and doesn't accept political advertising. See our advertising standards.

Transparency about AI

Relay tells you, on air and on screen, that newscasts are written and voiced by AI and presented by AI anchors. We don't make AI anchors appear to be real people, and we don't create images or video of real people saying or doing things they didn't.

Human oversight

People at Chimes In LLC set Relay's rules, choose its sources, and review stories on sensitive subjects (such as deaths, violence, crime allegations, health and elections) before they air. They can stop a story, pull an edition, or take the channel off air.

Elections

Relay does not project or declare winners. It reports results and race calls only as announced by election officials or by named news organizations, and says who made the call. Claims about voting or vote counting are held for human review, and Relay points viewers to official election offices for how, when and where to vote.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it, say what changed, and list it on our corrections page. Report an error to corrections@247relaynews.com.

Privacy and dignity

We avoid naming private individuals who are not central to a story and take extra care with stories involving children, grief and tragedy. Stories about sexual assault or harm to children are held for a person to review, and we don't name victims of sexual assault.
